Wells Reserve at Laudholm Farm wedding

It’s 11:06PM in Copenhagen, Denmark and I am seriously jet-lagged. Not like the kind where I am laying around all lazy and feeling drugged. The kind where it is 11:06 and I get this sudden urge to bake an entire batch of red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. Paula Deen style. Yeah, that kind of jet-lagged. So that is exactly what I am doing, you know, as I am updating my blog. So while looking at this GORGEOUS wedding at Laudholm Farm in Wells, Me, you can be salivating over the thought of moist red velvet cupcakes with creamy and rich cream cheese frosting. And let’s just say that my waistline is thrilled that I leave tomorrow for Holland and all those cupcakes will be left behind.

Let’s talk for just a second about how super cute some of these details are that were all planned by Nina and the ever-so-fabulous Paula Marrero of Marrero Events! Flawless!

Nina and Michel asked all of their guests to come wearing white, ivory or champagne. All of the guests gladly obliged and it looked amazing to look over the ceremony at Laudholm Farm from a distance and see everyone in white.

The tree that started it all. When Nina saw this tree, se immediately began seeing her dream wedding taking place under it. It wasn’t the ballroom she always dreamt of, but when she saw this tree, it all made sense.

Creative and beautiful idea…

One of the cool things that Nina and Michel did at their Laudholm Farm wedding was putting up a tree with postcards. Each of the guests took a postcard and then mailed it to them over the course of the next 6 months. How cool is that?
