Wedding at the Riverview
She sat in her room, quietly, calmly, patiently. He paced back and forth in his room, anxiously, excitedly, albeit a bit impatiently. But regardless of their countenance and demeanor, they both had their eyes and mind focused on one thing – the moment they would get to see each other for the first time on their wedding day.
She made her way down the grand staircase, slowly gliding down just like women did back in the 1800’s. Her face like a porcelain doll, her hair in simple loose curls, and her dress looking absolutely exquisite. No words were needed, because the look on his face said it all – this day that he had been waiting for had finally come. This day where he would marry the love of his life.
Jen and Shawn were married on a lovely day at the Riverview in Simsbury, CT. A day where rain was predicted but the clouds parted just in time for the heavens to shine down upon them as they said their vows to one another. It was a day of peace, a day of laughter, and a day that they will never forget.

Something super sweet that Jen & Shawn did was exchange letters to each other while they were each getting ready. It was a special moment for them to reflect on the day and on one another.
