I first met Summer and Preston at Hannah and Jake’s wedding a couple years ago. She was part of the trio that is Summer, Hannah and Stephanie – friends from college who have a bond like sisters. When I found out that Summer was engaged, I had hoped she would reach out to me to shoot her wedding, even though it was in Florida. The stars must have all aligned perfectly because it ended up working out that her wedding was right as my maternity leave was ending. Adam and I made our way down to Florida, where I met up with my good friend, Becca, who second shot their wedding with me. The weather could not have been more perfect for their wedding day, as the sun was bright and warm. it was the picture perfect March day in Florida. With the help of her good friend, Stephanie, of Emme Events, their entire wedding went off without a hitch. It was a fantastic mix of modern and vintage charm, with a flawlessly decorated reception room and equally as flawless bridal party. If there’s one theme that was consistent throughout the day it was JOY. Looking at these images reminded me of how full of joy Summer, Preston and all of their friends and family were the entire wedding day!
