Back in February Adam and I made a trip to Colorado to ski and visit some of the places we miss dearly from when we lived in Colorado a few years ago. It was a wonderful trip and, while there, i wanted to make sure I did a couple shoots in some iconic places. It was a greta opportunity for me to practice using film and I did two anniversary sessions in the STUNNING area of Lost Gulch, outside of Boulder, CO. I pushed myself with film to try some things I don’t often do – like shooting in full sun, and shooting on film alone with no digital backup. When I got my scans back from The Find Lab, I could not have been happier with how they turned out!
I first met Sarah when Adam and I lived in Colorado and I had the privilege of second shooting a wedding with her. She was super sweet, fun to work with, and drop dead gorgeous. When I put out a call for models she responded and said that she and her husband, Tanner, would love ot model for me, and they couldn’t have been more perfect for the shoot! I love photographing other photographers because I know that they have higher expectations, which always provides a good challenge. Additionally, contrary to what many may think, photographers don’t often get photographed themselves, so it was truly an honor to be able to provide Sarah and Tanner some beautiful images of themselves, in the state that they both love and adore!
