I can’t remember exactly the first time I met Nadja and Martin, but it was at some point when I lived in Copenhagen. We attended the same church and had some mutual friends, but I never had the chance to get to know them personally…and what a shame, because they are a fantastic couple. Nadja and Martin have now been married for a good handful of years and have three absolutely beautiful blond-hair, blue-eyed children. When I was in Copenhagen this summer, I had the opportunity to photograph their adorable family, and do a mini anniversary session of the two of them. During the session, they told me this was the first time they had done pictures together since their wedding day. I told them that it was time to change that and that I wanted to photograph them each year when I returned to Copenhagen 😉 Nadja is a stay at home mom who does a fantastic job with her kids, and Martin has a company called &tradition which you have to check out. If you’ve ever wondered why I’m so obsessed with Denmark and Scandinavia in general, the design and style sense is one of the top reasons. &tradition is a perfect depiction of Danish minimalism and the pieces &tradition has are impeccable!
