It was a day of dreams coming true. Of a delicate and lovely Princess becoming wed to her Prince Charming. As she rounded the corner to the church doors, she took a deep breath and held her head high. This was her moment. The moment she had dreamed of for as long as she could remember. A moment where any stress she had earlier that week bowed in reverence to the beauty and elegance that she beheld as she made her way towards him, her Knight in shining armor, her one and only Prince Charming. For on this day, she was the fairest of all women and the most beautiful of brides. As she neared the end of the aisle he reached out to shake the hand of her father. It was firm and it was genuine. It communicated that although they both knew she was a strong and independent woman, he would promise to hold both her heart and her hand delicately for the rest of their days, just as any Prince would do. And that, come hell or high water, he would do his very best to make her dream of happily ever after an every day reality. So daddy gave his Princess away, as she shed tears of joy knowing that her heart had been stolen by her Prince. And at the end of a fairy tale day, they blew kisses and waved goodbye as they walked hand…and they lived happily ever after.
