he pulled her in tight and swayed her back and forth, whispering sweet nothings into her ear and sweeping her off her feet. She laughed and giggled, but most of all looked into his eyes with all the love and respect in the world. The waves crashed around us and a storm threatened int he distance, but didn’t matter. As far as they were concerned, it was the, just the two of them, on a cosy New England beach, snuggled up together on a warm summer evening. As far as he was concerned, there’s no other place that he’d rather be than sitting there with her in his arms; and as far as she was concerned, no matter what storms may be coming in off the shore, the safest place she could be is in his arms.
I got together with Jessica and Paul a couple weeks ago for their engagement session at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven and, my oh my, was it a beauty of a night. They carefully planned their outfits (the second one is to die for!) and brought some adorable props to make the session more cozy. But, in the end, the best thing about this session was the love they shared and the connection they have. I absolutely can’t wait to photograph their wedding this year!
Meet Jessica + Paul.
