This weekend I am headed to Long Island to shoot the wedding of Desiree and Brian but I figure before I shot their wedding I should probably introduce you to them.

Brian and Desiree are a super cute, super sweet couple that met at Valley Forge Christian College. After talking with them on Skype it was clear to all 3 of us that we were the perfect fit for their wedding. I absolute adore them! I respect their values, integrity, character, and so many other things that are such important values to have. Brian and Desiree both have these character qualities in spades….and I just adore people who take a stand like that.

For their get to know you session we got together in Manhattan for some sushi and then headed over to Central Park for their engagement photos. Believe it or not, I have never photographed an engagement session in Central park prior to this one so it was a lot of fun to work in such an iconic location. The breeze became quite brisk as the sun began to set over Central Park but Brian and Desiree were total troopers.

Brian and Des, I am beyond excited for your wedding this Sunday!

We found some gorgeous cherry blossoms in Central Park to photograph under. Combine those cherry blossoms with a buttery sunset and you get some gorgeous engagement photos in iconic Central Park.

After the cherry blossoms we went over to this tunnel of which I do not know the name. What I do know is that it has some absolutely divine light pouring into it, so we decided to stop and grab some shots there.

We ended their Central Park engagement session with a little bit of dancing under the glow of the after-sun sky. It was beautiful!
