Country Loft Antiques wedding
I came back from Ecuador, turned my phone on, and saw I had a few voicemails. One of them went something like this “Hi Alicia my name is Lynn and this is Willy {insert voice from background: “Hey Alicia!!} and we want to talk to you about our wedding that is coming up in a few weeks. We have been together for 11 years and are every bit in love now as we were then and we decided to finally get married…and we just can’t stop looking at every corner of your website! Please call us back ASAP!!”. And just like that, my heart was theirs (sorry, Adam!). I love, love, love getting voicemails like that where it is so obvious that a couple is happy and in love. And after 11 years of keeping it up….and watching it grow it even more…I kinda think they need to start giving “love” classes to other couples.
Meet Lynn and Willy 🙂
Star Style Beauty was on hand to make Lynn even more gorgeous than she already is for her wedding at the Country Loft Antiques.Lynn’s “something borrowed” was this lovely bracelet that belonged to the late mother of the venues owner, Carole Winer. One thing I ABSOLUTELY love about Carole is that she makes it her utmost priority to get to know every bride who books their wedding at the Country Loft Antiques. Clearly, she loves them if she is willing to let them borrow a very precious family heirloom. 🙂Lynn, my dear, you are a stunner! As Lynn was getting ready at their home, Willy was down the street getting ready at the Longwood Inn in Woodbury. One of the things I loved most about shooting Lynn and Willy’s wedding at the Country Loft Antiques is that they had all these cool nooks and crannies with antique items. I could have spent all day just looking around at all the gorgeous stuff! As if the cool nooks and crannies weren’t enough, the property of the Country Loft Antiques was absolutely breathtaking and made for a perfect wedding backdrop.Lynn and Willy’s wedding ceremony was right outside the Country Loft Antiques on the pond. It was super pretty!I think Lynn’s nephew, Casey, wins the cutest Ring Bearer of the year award. One anxious and excited groom waiting at the altar as his lovely bride comes walking down the hill…What bride wouldn’t want to walk an aisle like this?If you ask me, I’d say that is one really excited bride right there! The sunlight just poured down upon Lynn and Willy as they promised forever to each other.Such a sweet momentTell me this isn’t one of the most beautiful places in all of CT to get married??!?!Thomas Gould of Brass City Bistro in Woodbury did a fantastic job, together with his team, of catering Lynn and Will’s entire event. The food was incredible!Another thing Carole, the owner of Country Loft Antiques, did for Lynn and Will was surprise them with bringing in this special Bentley for them as a surprise. You two…oh your two….I just adore you both.Later in the evening, Lynn and Willy lit the fire pit in the background of this image and had a huge bonfire with all of their family an friends.Love having my main man along with me to grab killer second shots. Lynn and Willy’s wedding cake was a stunning number by authentic French Bakers at Ovens of France. Michael Nappi stunned the crowd with his flawless acoustic crooning as they danced the night away.
Alicia,
Thank you so much for taking the time to put this sample of your beautiful work with us together in your lovely blog post! You and Adam took such amazing photos & these are just a small sample of them from the day! ALL of the images from the day are just perfect! We couldn’t have asked for more. You were simply wonderful to work with warm, professional, fun, organized & super talented. We WILL be working with you again and would highly recommend your fantastic services to everyone we know.
Have a great summer!

Lovely , lovely , lovely 🙂
Unbelievably gorgeous day and wedding. The weather was perfect. The gathering was intimate and sweet. Everyone had such a wonderful time that they’re still glowing. The photos captured the very essence of this union … two beautiful people who love each other so deeply. What could be better.
Very interested in your site as a potential venue for my wedding 5/3/14. Please reply with details, pricing, availability. Thank you!
Hello-
My partner and I are looking into wedding venues for a morning wedding followed by a luncheon on a Sunday in July of 2014. We would like more information on your available wedding packages.
Thank you,
Kerry and Erin
I was wondering if we were able to hold a wedding/reception there and what kind of costs we are looking at? Trying to narrow down our search so any info would help ?
My daughter is getting married in either
sept-Oct 2014 or April-May of 2015, Can you let me how many guests you can seat and avaliable dates for those times. Thank you so much. Ann
Hi, interested in wedding dates for September and/or October 2014 for125-150 people. Please send me information packages. Also do you hold more than one wedding at a time? Do you have inside and outside ceremony and reception.
Thank you
Enid Rizzo
Looking for a wedding somewhere as spectacular as our dreams. Do you have any Saturdays in October 2014 available for a family wedding?
Cheri
We are looking for a wedding venue for summer 2015. Here are a couple quick questions…
-Since we would love to have the ceremony outdoors, what do you have on-site for indoor ceremonies if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
-What is the price range for 250 guests?
-Are we able to use outside catering for dinner & late night snacks?
Can you please let us know the availability to schedule a tour of the venue on weekdays and/or weekends?
Thank you!
Mary & Dom

Great experience as noted by this fantastic photographer as noted here: +http://tinyurl.com/qyhnyfv
However; The venue has more than $65,000 in delinquent property taxes owed to the Town of Woodbury and the possibility of being shut down is something potential couples should be aware of when taking the chance of booking a date or making a deposit.

Venue has no liquor license and is only permitted up to 50 guests indoors including guests and staff for fire safety issues.
Not handicap accessible.
No outdoor lighting.
Please modify your YELP post to at least make potential couples aware of these issues. It would be a travesty to potential clients to do otherwise.
Regards,
Kenneth
Your pictures are out of this world. You seem to be a great photographer. I do think that it is irresponsible to sing Country Loft’s praises given the state they are in. Aside from the tax debt, they are not the venue they present themselves to be. Between parking in muddy fields, not to mention the goose poop at the pond, to the port-o-lets, there really is not any praise left. One would actually think that this place is running a scam. But, I was in attendance to a wedding last August and worried more about the neighbors since the reception took place practically in their back yard. I do hope to hire you some day for my daughter’s (fingers crossed) wedding, but I can assure you it will never be at Country Loft.
