She slipped into her dress and looked out into the distance as her girls buttoned her up in the dress. 33 buttons, to be exact, each one as difficult as the next but everyone of them reminding her that good things are worth waiting for. As they buttoned her up she was quite and contemplative, likely recounting every memory she had with Brendan over the last 10 years. 10 years, to the date, since they began dating. 10 years of love and laughter. The day she had been dreaming of for a long time had finally come. And as they buttoned that last button, she breathed in deeply, knowing full well that good things are worth waiting for.

He waited for her at the end of the aisle. A smile that could light up New York City was spread wide across his face. One at a time, she took steps towards him. Slowly and steadily, taking her time and soaking it all in. 10 years, to the date, since they began dating. 10 years of love and laughter. The day he had been thinking about for a long time had finally come. As she took those final steps at the enter of the aisle and her dad shook his hand, he knew one thing, beyond all certainty. Good things are worth waiting for.

Lindsey and Brendan got married on a chilly, but gorgeous November day where Mother Nature was merciful and everything turned out perfectly. With the impeccable coordination of Elli at the Bond Ballroom, and team of fantastic vendors (including my favorite florist!), this wedding was a stunner.
