Lindsay stood in front of the mirror and pressed her perfectly pink lips together one last time as she tightened the gloves on her hand that were the same gloves her mother wore for her wedding day. The day felt surreal. Like she was dancing through some sort of dream. From the laughter of her bridesmaid to the extra-tight, my-baby-girl-is-grown-up hug her mother gave her. The heels she slipped her feet into might as well have been enchanted. Sunlight filtered in through the windows like rays of magic. It was all too perfect to be true. She found she was tempted to pinched herself to make sure it was real. But she knew better. It was most certainly real, all the hard work put into this day proved it. Her feet practically glided over the grass as they carried her down the path towards her beloved John. She laced her fingers with his and smiled at him with her whole heart, promising forever to him and sealing it with a loving kiss. Their wedding day was everything they could have ever dreamed of – filled with love and laughter, sunshine and bright Autumn colors – but, most of all, what made their day everything they dreamed of was being surrounded by the one that they held nearest and dearest.
