When it comes to family, it is possible to find a source of insurmountable strength and comfort. When families like the Devito’s and Roberto’s come together, the world smiles. Because we were made to lean on each other, to celebrate together, and give of ourselves. That’s what these families are all about. When I showed up on her wedding day, Leah greeted me with flowers and a the biggest of hugs. On a day when it’s justifiable to make everything all about you, Leah instead gave from her heart, showering everyone around her with gratefulness.
Leah and Jeff’s traditional Italian wedding was beautiful, and definitely a highlight of the season. There was a sense all around of belonging and celebration. The joy of two families coming together was on the faces of everyone there, and you didn’t have to be a blood relative to be welcomed. Each person present, whether there to serve or there to celebrate, was surrounded by their love and happiness. It was contagious, and it was a blessing.
Leah and Jeff, I know you guys are jetting off to Mexico today but, before you do so I want t say thank you SO VERY MUCh for making us part of your family on Sunday. You guys were a dream to work with!
