All week she had been praying hard for one day of warmth and sunshine. In the Faroe Islands, while Adam and I were layering shirts and sweaters, the Faroese were laying outside on the beach….in 50 degree weather. It doesn’t get much warmer than that there but if it was possible to will good weather into existence, Karis was going to do that for her wedding day. The day started out foggy and cloudy, much like the others days in Torshavn, but just before she left to go to the church, the fog lifted and the sun came through. It was a beautiful sunny, warm, breezy day as Karis and Osvald promised forever to each other and celebrated late into the evening.
