I first met Karis years ago when I lived in Denmark, and then a couple years ago I had the privilege of photographing her wedding in the Faroe Islands when she married Osvald. They were such gracious hosts in the Faroes and I knew they would be a couple that I would photograph again and again. This year, while in Copenhagen, we did an anniversary session together with them, as they now live in Copenhagen full time. It was such an honor to see and photograph them again. It is so obvious that they love each other well, and I truly love seeing that in couples! Karis has long been a fan of my work, and that is the greatest compliment that I can receive, especially since she and Osvald are photographers themselves. I can’t wait to photograph them again…hopefully next time, back in their home country of the Faroe Islands!!
