There are few words that I can put on this session that could accurately describe the amount of awe we were in while shooting these portraits.  When Karis and Osvald booked me for their wedding, we knew that we wouldn’t have time on their wedding day to capture the stunning beauty of the Faroe Islands in their wedding portraits, so we schedule a day after session. Upon arriving at Gásadalur, Adam and I were just speechless. The beauty of the landscape was just breathtaking.

While we may not have landscape like this in new England, I absolutely LOVED doing this day-after session. Karis and Osvald were so much more relaxed, we weren’t terribly worried about getting the dress dirty, and we were just able to take our time and have FUN! If you are thinking of doing a day after (or week/month after!) session to take advantage of a different makeup/hair look, or just to get a variety or portraits, I HIGHLY recommend doing one. This session is proof that day-afers are totally worth it!
