The light poured in through the double french doors and landed straight on Jennie as she put her dress on. She glowed. From the top of her head to the tip of her toes, the joy and excitement she had radiated from the depths of her soul. Tears filled the room as her father walked in hugged her tightly, as if to hold onto his baby girl one last time.
The water sparkled as he made his way out to the trolley and the look on his face told everyone that he was so proud and ready to marry the girl of his dreams. While they balanced each other out perfectly, they also shared a kindness and tenderness that couldn’t be matched and it was obvious that he knew he had found a girl perfect for him.
Jennie and Andy’s wedding at Saybrook Point Inn was beyond gorgeous. The sun shone brightly, the salty air was cool and the water glistened as they promised forever to each under under the steeple of a quintessential New England Church and danced the night away in each others arms.
