I recently went on a little wedding venue tour in Los Angeles, California to scope out the very best venue to recommend to clients whoa re planning their wedding. Of all the venues I toured, there was one that stuck out the most – Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, CA …for so many reasons. Greystone Mansion is tucked into the Hills, unassuming from the street, but a true hidden gem. Shall we dive into a full review of Greystone Mansion?

What I love most about Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills is that it feels like a little escape from the hustle and bustle of LA life. Stepping onto the property instantly makes you feel like you’re at a quaint English estate or French Chateau.

Greystone Mansion is fully of history and charm, but rather than feeling stuffy it has a welcoming vibe that will make your wedding guests feel like they were invited to a chic and debonair old English soirée. Really, it doesn’t get better than that. 

The grounds has so many options to have the various events of your wedding day – the first look, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and even after party.

My favorite area on site is the garden and the beautiful staircase that greets your guests upon arrival. Pro tip: This would be a great place to have waitstaff lined up on the staircase, offering white glove service of a welcome drink.

As your guests arrive, they will be greeted with the beautiful exterior of the front of Greystone Mansion, and instantly the stage will be set for a classic and chic wedding. With its stunning exterior, exemplary foliage and plants, beautiful gardens, and breathtaking interior, it is sure to impress your guests and to make you feel like you are royalty. Pro tip: if you book Greystone Mansion, make it a Black Tie event! 

Another favorite spot of mine on the Greystone Mansion property is the pathway from the garden and fountain area to the mansion itself. It’s lush with greenery, and feels like you’re stepping into a jungle for a brief moment, before being wowed by the mansion

Inside the courtyard area of the Greystone Mansion there is a perfect spot to hold cocktail hour OR to dine al fresco under the stars. Pro tip: Have the band setup on the veranda overhead to the left in the image below OR do cocktail hour up there 😉 So many options!

If you go around to the back corner of the mansion, it provides the most stunning view of the city of Los Angeles. This area would be a fantastic spot to do an after party!

There are SO MANY places on the grounds of Greystone Mansion to do wedding photos. It’s a venue that I definitely recomend doing a first look at, just to make sure we get to hit all of the most spectacular spots.

The thing about Greystone Mansion is that there are just so many options. So many options, in fact, that it doesn’t feel like your wedding is cookie cutter.
