I walked in and she looked up from getting her makeup done and said “I’ve been emotional all morning, I’m so sorry if my eyes are red.” As though it was a bad thing. Because, when you think about it, every wedding day should be emotional. It is the single most climatic day of ones life, when the end has come to two individuals and beginning has come for ONE. A day when forever is promised and families are joined. When Daddy’s little girl becomes someone else’s woman. And, if you ask me, that worth shedding a tear or two. Happy tears. Exciting tears. Joyful tears. And so it was with Eileen that the happiest of tears were shed as she walked down the aisle to promise her entire future to the man who stole her heart.
