She held a tissue up to her nose as she carefully read the words he wrote to her. She was so careful to not mess up her makeup, but as the tears flowed, her mom and best friend reminded her that it was ok to cry. Though I will never know for sure, I am pretty sure that a lifetime of hopes and dreams and fears and waiting were all flashing before her as she read those words that were carefully penned on paper. The day had finally come that she had been waiting for her entire life, and I think she was still in disbelief that her day was finally her. And not just any ‘ole wedding day, but the wedding day she spent her entire life praying for. Because it was on that day that she would marry the man of her dreams. The one that fulfilled…and surpassed…every hope and dream and prayer she ever had. So the tears flowed, but everyone in the room knew that they were only the happiest of tears.

He paused for a brief second to catch his breath as he choked through the words she carefully wrote. Words about how much she loved him, how much she respected him, and how much she couldn’t wait to see the husband and father he would become. He knew he was the man of her dreams, and in that moment I’m nearly certain he was thinking all about how she was the woman of his dreams. She was kind and caring, generous and hospitable. A true friend of his, the best adventure buddy, and the sweetest soul he had ever met. As he folded up the letter she wrote him, he took a deep breath and made his way toward to door to marry the woman he loved so dearly.

Josh and Danielle’s wedding at Mountain View Grand Resort was such a special, emption filled day. Of all the couples we’ve ever photographed, these two made sure their faith was so central to every part of their day more than we’ve ever seen before. As a believer myself, I  loved seeing this aspect brought into the start of their marriage. As the day continued and the sun shone down, Danielle and Josh partied the night away with their friends and family. Between rocking it out on the dance floor, enjoying a gorgeous sunset over the mountains, and a surprise performance of “One day more” from their friends, this wedding at Mountain View Grand Resort was one for the books.
