I met Christine and Rune quite a few years ago when I photographed their little family. At that time it was just the two of them and their daughter, Alba. As the years passed by I would photograph them each time I returned to visit Denmark, eventually meeting their second daughter, Maja. it’s been so much fun watching their family grow, and photographing them and the girls over the years so when Christine contacted me to let me know that Rune had proposed and they were interested in using me as their wedding photographer, I was ecstatic! Summer in Denmark is like heaven on earth, so I knew their wedding would be absolutely perfect. And it was. It was the perfect representation of who they are as a couple and a family. Christine got ready in her parents home in a small suburban town outside of Copenhagen, with the help of both Alba and Maja, and their ceremony was held in the adorably quaint local state church. After the ceremony was done, everyone walked to Christine and Rune’s home where they had an afternoon reception with cakes, candy, drinks, and food, before heading over to the dinner party at a local restaurant. All in all, the day was absolutely wonderful and was a testament to the love and legacy they have built together as a family.
