There is just something about her. Something about the way she pretends to knee him during their engagement session. Something about her sarcastically joking that she doesn’t want to stand next to him. Something about the spunk in her that stems as deep as her Alabama roots. Something about her laugh. Something about her smile. Something about the way she completely makes him feel like he is the only man on earth. But to her, he is.
There is just something about him. Something about the magic ability he has to calm her down, and to fire her up. Something about his way with her that tells everyone around them that he found a diamond in the rough, this amazing woman who has changed his life. Something about his main goal in life being whatever it takes to make her happy and to ensure that she is doing the things in life that bring her joy.
There is something about them. From the time that they met while working at ESPN and began bantering back and forth about the latest baseball scores, one thing was clear – they were made for each other. And whether rubbing-in whose team won or lost the past weekend, or whether they are just snuggled up together on the couch of their home it is evident to everyone who knows them – they were meant to be together, and they look forward to a life of love, happiness, and lots of sports games together.
Meet: Tim & Anna
For Tim & Anna’s engagement session, we went into downtown New Haven (my old stomping grounds!) in and around Yale Campus to shoot. I have always loved the way Yale looks and always thought it was incredibly romantic. The old, chiseled and carved stone buildings. The libraries inside that make you think you stepped back in time. There is just something about Yale Campus that always made me want to shoot wedding or engagement photos there! We had a fantastic time laughing, joking (usually Yankees vs. Red Sox banter), and getting to know each other.
