As she looked down just long enough for her maid of honor to button up her gown, she thought about how far they’d come. She thought about the little life they had begun to build years ago and how it had all lead up to this day. The most radiant and glowing of brides, she smiled and placed her hand on her stomach. Together, the two of them had created life, and today the three of them would celebrate their commitment to forever.
There had been many moments he swore to himself he could not possibly love her any more, and yet, the days passed and his affections grew. But nothing could’ve topped the feelings of love welling up inside of him than the moment they shared their first look. Standing on those front steps Stephanie and Michael embraced one another, wiped their happy tears and lingered in those special quiet moments before the ceremony began.
Nothing could’ve stopped this couple from truly celebrating their marriage, a little rain included. The pair exuberated joy all throughout their big day despite the forecast, dancing and smiling all night long. Their family and loved ones followed their lead, making for one of the most memorable and heartfelt celebrations.
People always describe their wedding day as the best day of their life. For Stephanie and Michael that may be true for now. But as they embark on their new journey as man and wife, father and mother, they have so many more “best days” ahead.
