Best Places in New York City for Wedding Receptions

I woke up this morning, and allowed the little devil and angel on each shoulder to duke it out about whether or not I should sleep an extra hour. But something in the air forced me out of bed. I just finished a month where I was home a total of 4 days and I am feeling the effects. But this morning? I could feel the first signs of fall drifting through my window in the form of a brisk draft. And.it.felt.fantastic. I loooove fall and just about everything that come with it, so this morning was particularly delightful for me. It reminded me of special moments like those that we often dismiss as we carry on with our day.

Instead of my regular routine of quickly grabbing a bowl of instant oatmeal and a glass of Green Vibrance before sitting down to get to work on the previous 24 hours of emails, I decided to take a bit of time. Time to stretch. Time to think. Time to breathe. Time to pray. Time to soak in this delightful moment because, really, life is about soaking up moments like these. And soak I did. For a whole hour and a half. And it was wonderful!

So on this cool September morning I want to remind to do the same – stop for a few minutes today to soak up the moments that life is made of and let them bring a smile to your face. Whether it is your child laughing in the other room or your husband snoring on the couch during his pre-dinner nap. Whether it’s your dog that is chasing around a buzzing fly or a friend who called you to tell you a good story. Today, I hope and pray that you are able the stop and soak up these special moments that make our lives full to the brim.

Happy Thursday!

And since every post is better with a picture, here is a picture from my trip to MN that makes my heart smile. Now tell me, what do YOU plan on soaking up today?
