Here in the industry we call it a wedding hangover. I may be sharing too much information here but I have never been drunk, so I can’t technically say I know what it feels like to be hungover. That was until I became a wedding photographer. A “wedding hangover” usually comes after shooting 2-3 weddings over the course of a few days, and this weekend was indeed one of those weekends. The only difference is that when you wake up on Monday morning, despite the aching body and pounding headache, there is still the high that I assume is not there after a regular hangover. And that high comes from knowing that you documented the most important day of someone’s life, and that you were surrounded by love, laughter and happiness all weekend. And that, my friends, well I’d that’s well worth a bit of a hangover. 🙂
Here is a little sneak peek of Kimberly and Daniel’s wedding at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury, CT. I absolutely adore these two (and their families!) and can’t wait to show you the rest of
their wedding!
Alicia – you and your staff were absolutely amazing!!! We LOVED that you gently took over, got the unbelievable photos that we wanted and those you saw that we never could have imagined, all of which allowed us to enjoy our fabulous day without even knowing you were around. Even when Kimberly had a slight panic attack about the color of the groom’s and groomsmen’s shirts, you offered to send one of your staff to the tuxedo store to gather up new shirts (the color turned out to be correct and we calmly moved on). God blessed us on Sunday and we are so happy you were able to catch all those special moments. We can’t wait to see all the photos and will not hesitate to recommend you to others.
