A tear rolled slowly down her cheek. And I know they say tears are salty but I’m pretty sure this one was sweet. And as that single tear dropped off her chin towards her heart, it made way for the flood of tears that would follow. All happy tears. She couldn’t believe this day had finally come. And I’m pretty sure she was overwhelmed with how incredibly radiant and beautiful she looked. As her friends wiped her tears, she looked up through them and said “I just can’t wait to see Peter”. For this would be the day that she married her best friend and love of her life.
The music began playing and, as if right on cue, he tilted his head back as a single tear rolled down his cheek. Again, I’m convinced it was the sweetest of tears. And as that one tear fell off his chin toward his heart, it made way for the flood of tears that would follow. All happy tears. He couldn’t believe this day had finally come. And I’m pretty sure he was overwhelmed with how incredibly radiant and beautiful she looked. As his friends patted him on the back, he looked up at her, his hands clasped tightly and his gaze locked. For this would be the day that he married his best friend and love of his life.
Peter and Sandra……!!!!!!!! <---- that's all I have to say about your wedding. It was a wedding that had Rachel, Madi and myself all in awe of the power of love. It was a day that reignited hope in all of us. And it was so, so beautiful! Even though we only just met, I adore you two and I am so honored and grateful that you chose us to be there with you on your amazingly special day!
