So why a Disney Fairy Tale themed wedding? Well, if you know anything about Rebekka and Mikkel then you would understand why. They are both very familiar with the stage. When Rebekka was much younger she was in a pop duo in Denmark called “Creamy” that became very well known. As an adult she has done a lot of acting, singing and recording, including recording for Disney’s “High School “Musical” in Danish. To hear a clip of her and her brother, Simon, singing “Du er mit livs melodi” (You are the music in me) click here. Mikkel is also familiar with the stage as an upcoming actor. So for the two of theme, a short of “showy” wedding was just right. And as you are beginning to see, they did Disney right.

Rebekka told me on the train ride to the Holckenhavn the day before that she was incredibly afraid of horses. I’d say that’s a good actress right there, then, because she looks like a natural with the horse!

Once again, a HUGE thanks to Amanda Thomsen of Fotostudie for this shot and for second shooting all day with me! I am also loving that danish flag flying high in the sky in the background of the photo.

Rebekka and Mikkel, you both are so gorgeous it should be a sin!

Never before have I seen doves used as a prop for wedding portraits, but these doves totally added a bit of serenity and softness to these photos.

Once again, the backdrop of Holckenhavn Slot was absolutely stunning. Behind every turn was a new little nook or cranny that was screaming out to be shot at. It was so beautiful!

Rebekka and Mikkel made my job impossibly easy because they are so beautiful and photogenic.
