For quite some time I have been apathetically displeased with the look of my website and blog. I designed it myself about two years ago and had a good friend put together all the different elements into SHOWIT in order to create what has been my website for the last two years. Throughout most of last year I felt like, although I loved my brand, the look of the brand was not consistent with the rest of it. It seemed too “chunky”, too sloppy and, if I dare say so, a bit 70’s. Our brand has really evolved and become it’s own in the last two years since we rebranded and I am finding myself drawn to a much more minimalistic, clean look. So this month one of the projects on my Big List (more on that later) was to “upbrand”. I wasn’t REbranding, because I love our current brand, but I knew I needed to clean it up.

For the last 2 years I’ve had the pleasure of having my website be hosted through SHOWIT, whose praises I will sing until my dying day. Not only is the SHOWIT community an incredible one, and the staff extremely helpful, but SHOWIT allows me to, at any time, go in and completely redo my website…by myself, with no web design training needed. It’s a dream come true. So for the last few weeks I have been going in and tweaking the entire look of my site, making it easier to navigate, and more simple to read. I’ve also added Rachel to the site since she is now a full time associate of mine 🙂

So, take a look around and tell me what you think! Do you like the updates? I quickly updated the blog to match the new website but the blog will get even more of a facelift int he next couple weeks.
