Happy New Years Eve!
Wow! What a year this has been! 2009 will be a year that I look back on for the rest of my life and only be able to sum it up with one word – WOW. This year has been filled with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. There were times when the tears poured like rain, and times when the smiles were as wide as the Grand Canyon.
It was a year of learning. Growing. Developing. Being stretched.
I love change. I love the process of change. Just yesterday I was talking…..er, complaining…to my special someone that sometimes I really hate times of transition and change. It is awkward and unstable. Yet, even though it is entirely uncomfortable, it ironically is ALWAYS a time of extreme growth. It is a time where you learn to appreciate the little things in life that bring a smile to your face, as well as the tremendous blessings. It is a time of clinging to those you love most, and finding out who your real friends are. And because of this, I love change.
Change has begun for No Eye Has Seen photography. 2010 will be our first “full” year of shooting weddings and engagements full-time. It will no longer just be a hobby, or something I do “just for fun”- it is what I will be dedicating my time and effort to for this next chapter in my life. It is exciting, and unbelievably scary.
To start of the year right, we have launched this blog – complete with our new logo in the background (YAY!). But now, it is up to YOU! If you are reading this, there is a good chance you are a friend of NEHS. You may be a past bride, a family member, a vendor we met this year, or just someone who likes our work. YOU are the reason we are able to continue to dream bigger for NEHS. Will you help us by passing on information about this blog?
***To start of 2010 right, we want to give a little incentive for all of our fans. Biggest lesson learned: Might be cliche, but it is true of this year- It is better to have loved and lost than never loved at all.
Biggest challenge: Moving back to my home country after living in Europe for 4 years, and having a greater culture shock coming back here than when I went there.
Happiest moment: The day my little sister became a Mrs.
Love, Love, Love!!! Your website…it is fun, creative, interesting, exciting! Amazing how many things you and I have in common. I love to skydive, ski (water and snow), travel (although, have not traveled nearly as much as you – I envy you), drive fast [and have avoided tickets…sometimes], love to sing, write songs, and sing loudly (to the annoyance of family 🙂 ), dance, love!, love! shoes & heels [had over 72 pair before Hurricane Ike], love to cook, bake, and EAT. And I love you, Alicia. But most of all: LOVE THE LORD!
May you continue to follow the Lord in your work and life. Jeremiah 29:11
Love,
Aunt Sallyann
