Last month I had the immense privilege of flying to Ireland to photograph some sessions, and to do some mentoring with Naomi of Nay Photography. I’ve known Nay for over 10 years, and when we first met we both had a moderate interest in photography, but neither of us were doing it professionally. Skip forward to today where I have my own photography business, and she is also a full time photographer in her home country of Ireland. Nay is incredibly talented as a photographer, and we had such a great time coming up with plans and goals for her business, as well as making tangible and realistic plans for how to attain those goals. After we were done spending a couple days dreaming and scheming, we made our way up to Belfast to do an anniversary session of she and her husband, Michael. Everyone goes to Ireland for the lush greenery, the cliffs, and the castles. But for me? It was the old architecture and masonry that stole my heart.
Nay and Michael, thank you for giving me a little bit of your time to photography the joy of marriage between the two of you! It was such an honor to spend some time with you both, and I look forward to doing it again in the future!
