Mount Dora engagement photographer
Happy Saturday from sunny, Mount Dora, Florida! I flew in on Thursday to prepare for the wedding I am shooting today – my first wedding of the year – gah!!! I am beyond excited and beyond nervous. This whole Florida sun thing is a bit out of my comfort zone. I know all you Cali and southern America photogs are probably laughing and thinking “PFT! Sun? Ain’t no thang!” But you gotta understand, us northerners, well we are used to lots of clouds in the sky and mild temps. July and August are rough on us, but beside that, the rest of the year is usually a delight to shoot in!
I digress.
Yesterday I got together with the lovely Mr. and Mrs. to-be to do a little get to know you session/engagement session in Mount Dora, FL. I have been to Mount Dora before and I remember loving all the little shops, side streets, and how it all sits atop this pretty lake. We meandered around (yes, I just said meandered) in the sunshine, talking about the wedding, and about life. And it was so obvious to be that Jason and Amber just could not wait to begin forever together.
Meet Jason and Amber.
We found this old abandoned train to take some photos on which was set a bit away from the blazing sun. This ended up being on of my favorite series from their engagement session in Mount Dora.
Amber was a total natural in front of the camera! She rocked this engagement session like she was gonna put Ms. Tyra outta business!
Jason, not to be outdone by his soon-to-be-Mrs., worked a bit of magic in front of the camera himself!
The light was finally my friend and decided to cooperate a bit 🙂
What’d I say about Ambers eyes? Right? STUNNING!
Loooove this shot in front of the Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora, where we did their engagement session!
