Today I want to wish Michael and Leah a very happy 1st anniversary!

Leah and Michael’s wedding last June was one of the most memorable and special weddings I’ve ever shot and I was so, so honored to be able to document it. When I first met Leah and Michael, we got on the subject of children and Michael said “God willing, we will have a 3 month old on our first anniversary”. Little Chaya isn’t quite 3 months old, but she is definitely a cutie!

We love this photo most because we both look so happy and candid, and the forest background is almost magical

From Leah: Our advice for other clients is to write down what parts of the wedding are important for you to have photos of, and go over that at the getting to know you shoot. Every wedding is different, and every person has different priorities about what they want photos of. We had a very different wedding with lots of religious customs, and we sent Alicia a list of what each custom/tradition was and what key photos we wanted. She did a perfect job!
