A cold, blustery day it was. But despite the crisp winter chill in the air, Melixza and Mfoniso’s wedding was one of the warmest we’ve ever been to. It was a day chock full of happiness and laughter, fun and games, tears of joy and smiles that spread as far as the East is for the West. Their wedding day began at the Langham hotel where the guys go ready and at the Copley Marriot where the girls made sure they looked nothing short of fantastic. Having met and fallen in love in heart of Boston, Melizxa and Mfoniso knew there was no better place to get married, and what better iconic place to exchange their vows than at the Old South Church right in the heart of downtown Boston. With their portraits being done at the Boston Public library and their reception at the UMASS club, these guys warmed up all of Boston with their incredible, and incredibly fun, wedding day.
Rachel shot this wedding, together with Roberto Farren, at the Boston Public Library, Old South Church and UMASS club in Boston. I have to say, of all the weddings Rachel has shot, this may be the one I’ve loved the most!
Melixza began her wedding day in Boston by getting dressed and ready at the Mariott Copley hotel in downtown Boston where the views were phenomenal.
Mfoniso and his guys started their day getting ready at the gorgeous Langham Hotel, across the street from the UMASS club
As soon as their wedding ceremony at Old South Church was done, Melixza and Mfoniso made their way across the street to the iconic Boston Public Library for some formal wedding portraits
Melixza and Mfoniso did an incredible job at decorating the UMASS club for their wedding reception.
The view from the UMASS club was absolutely breathtaking!
