I recently met up with up with Tara and Ryan at the Ocean House at Watch Hill in Westerly RI for their engagement session and, my oh my, this session didn’t disappoint. Between the copious amounts of navy blue sports coats and Sperry top siders on location, and Ryan + Tara who were total pros in front of the camera…this engagement session went down in the books as one of my all-time favorites.
Tara and Ryan are having their wedding at the New Bedford Whaling Museum next year and, with the help of Paula at Marrero Weddings and Events, I know their wedding is going to be off the charts phenomenal.
Meet Tara + Ryan.
I was super lucky to have my main man along with me for this engagement session at the Ocean House at Watch Hill, because when I have him with me he gets images like these two. 🙂We got to the Ocean House at Watch Hill in the knick knack paddy whack of time as the sun was setting perfectly on the horizon over Westerly, RI, which provided some awesome light for Tara and Ryan’s engagement session. This was the view from the back porch of the Ocean House and it was absolutely lovely!Another great shot by AdamSeriously, could the Ocean House at Watch Hill be any more beautiful? As we made our way from the front of the Ocean House at Watch Hill, the sun began giving off this amazing buttery golden light which made their engagement session THAT much more beautifulThere literally is no end to the beauty at this venue. The House itself, the gardens, the beach….all stunning! After we were done roaming the grounds of the Ocean House at Watch hill, we made our way down to the beach area.Tara told me at the beginning of our shoot that she was so nervous, she was shaking. But her and Ryan were total pros in front of the lens.RAWR! Tara, you such a hottie. Love this candid shot that Adam got of Ryan!Ok you two….stop being so gorgeous, will ya? You are making the rest of us look like ragamuffins…The colors, the outfits, the backdrop…I just adore everything about this engagement session. Ryan working his magic for the camera. Is that not the prettiest light you ever did see?Going to take another moment here to brag on how much I love the stuff that Adam has been shooting lately. Seriously, he’s thebomb.com. If there was a thebomb.comThe Ocean House at Watch hill in all it’s glory.I asked Tara and Ryan to walk, hand in hand, along the sand when, unexpectedly, a pretty huge wave came in and got all of us wet. Luckily they were great sports and we had a good laugh about it.This may be one of my all-time favorite engagement images. I love the colors, contrast and clarity of it. So simple, but so stunning.I may or may not have taken a record amount of images on this engagement shoot, but how could I not? Everything about it was beautiful! A little bit of beach dancing.Another favorite from this engagement session at Ocean House at Watch HillI love the symmetry of these stairs on the back porch of the Ocean House. Ok, truth be told, ADAM loved the symmetry and brought it to my attention…and he was right.
