I imagine it as a modern day “Grease” romance. Of summer nights, blue moons, and grease lightning. Their love may not have developed at a carnival during high school summer break, but it did at Lake Compounce. Where John would make it a game almost every day to find Nichole in the park. And while I may be so far off with my 1970’s musical comparisons, I know there was at least a little bit of the Grease Lightning going on with John and his motorcycle. And that they are absolutely, 100% hopelessly devoted to one another.
