They met met online and spent a few weeks talking before they ever met up in person. Morgan remembers spending late nights texting back and forth, to the point where she would fall asleep mid conversation because it was getting so late. Finally after a few weeks of text banter, Morgan and Chris decided to meet up in person. Their first date was at a Tapas restaurant on the upper west side of NYC and Chris remembers seeing Morgan walk in and instantly feeling nervous while simultaneously saying to the bartender “I really hope that’s not her”. Despite his nerves being wracked, Morgan and Chris hit it off immediately and ended up going on two more dates right in a row. One thing led to another and before you knew it, these two were inseparable. And then it happened one night, as Morgan returned from a trip to Florida that Chris walked in the door dressed to the nines and with a bouquet of flowers, that he got down on one knee and asked Morgan to marry him. And something tells me that in the back of his head, he was really glad it was, in fact, her that walked through the door at that Tapas restaurant many months prior.
We are so excited about Chris and Morgan’s wedding later this month at the stunning Mountain Top Inn. A few weeks ago Madi met up with them in their beloved NYC to capture them together in the place they fell in love and these gorgeous images are the result.
Meet Morgan + Chris.
