Happy Monday! We are SO EXCITED to share this engagement session on the blog today. Steve and Mercedes are an incredibly fun, cool couple and one that we knew would be a great fit for our studio right from the moment we met them.

Steve and Mercedes had a mutual group of friends for several years but they had never been in the same place together, up until that one fateful day. Their groups of friends would get together for weekly for trivia-night, and one night in particular they both happened to show up for trivia night. After a short time, they started to connect over their passion for running and fitness which naturally lead to them running and hiking together on occasion. They then began running together a bit more frequently because they enjoyed spending time with each other. After some time they eventually became inseparable and decided it was about time to make things more official. It was only natural, then, that after a series of clues and sending Mercedes on a bit of a hunt, that the hunt ended with her meeting him at her favorite running spot. She thought they were getting ready to go on a run together, until he surprised her with ice cream. She thought the ice cream was the surprise at the end of the hunt, but there was one more clue waiting on the bottom of her ice cream cup.  As she ate that last bite, she noticed the last rhyming clue and that’s when Steve got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
