It was the first day of college and they were moving into their dorms, fresh with excitement and optimism and full of hopes and dreams. Maria’s roommate had already met Chris and was kinda crushing on him but when she first introduced them to each other, Maria thought Chris was super annoying. What could her friend possibly see in him? The first semester of freshmen year progressed and, as fate would have it, Maria and Chris crossed kept crossing paths when they realized they had the same professor for Calculus. But nobody needed advanced mathematics to realize that very quickly 1 + 1 = 2, and for these two the equation made sense. And somewhere between freshman calculus and finding themselves on the same campus sophomore year, Maria and Chris found in each other what they had always been looking for.
