It’s a game of he says/she says. When I asked when and how they met, they each held to their own version which is quite different from the other one. But despite their differences in opinion as to how they met, both Kristin and Mike maintain that once they started hanging out together, they were inseparable. He taught her how to golf and she taught him how to snowboard. Together they developed a mutual love for movies and food, all the while agreeing that shopping will likely never be a favorite pastime of theirs. Whether he is nursing a child back to health, or she is helping an underprivileged family find their way, they both have a huge heart for loving and serving people. There is something so special about two people who are so alike, yet different enough to compliment one another perfectly. In a nutshell, that is Kristin and Mike. And I am so excited to be there when they say “I do” this fall!.
Meet Kristin and Mike.
We got together at the Holiday Cinemas in Wallingford for their movie theater themed engagement shoot. Both kristin and Mike were pretty natural in front of the camera, which made my job that much easier. 🙂Kristin’s red dress was perfect against the backdrop of the blue movie theater seats.Love those genuine smiles! After we were done at the movie theater, we headed downtown Wallingford for some naturally lit photos.Kristin makes the job of a model look easy.
Love you two and I absolutely can’t wait until September!
Opening shot in theater is priceless! Great lighting and wonderful composition bring it home all levels! Also love the urban outfitters alley shoot. Can’t wait for the big event!
Woo-hoo!!! You’ve captured the essence of our newlyweds-to-be…from their fun-loving side to their love-for-each-other side! Can’t wait to see the wedding photos!
I LOVE these photos – you really captured how happy they are together and how they compliment each other! Great lighting and color in the movie theater – I was hoping for a popcorn fight!
Lovely photos, very natural shots of both Kris and Mike–who knew that on top of everything else they have going for them, that they are also great models!! September is fast approaching……and their story continues.

Spaghetti :-p
Alicia, The photos came out amazing. But I guess I’m biased. 🙂 Can’t wait to have you photograph our wedding!
Pure joy comes to my heart when looking through all these pictures.

Like them all. The first is really nice, but my favorite is the one where Kristin is on the left with both arms around Mike. The casual photos have some interesting photos of you both and individually, but I wouldn’t choose them for “the engagement photo.” Looking forward to seeing you both at the wedding.
Alicia, I have to echo previous comments that you have captured Kristin’s and Mike’s essence and your work accurately portrays their personalities. It is quite evident that they thoroughly enjoy each other company.
Terrific photos, guys! I really like the last three.
Nice photos, Kristin! The dress you’re wearing in the movie theater shots looks really cute on you!
Hope the happy couple was watching “Aberaham Lincoln Vampire” over the duration of the shoot. With the looks on Magic Mike’s face, it seems the odds are high. Love the pictures, You 2 both look great.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys! Can’t wait for the actual day.
These pictures really capture the kinds of people you are, they’re great and really cute. I like that they’re not the typical “walking on the beach” pictures. Can’t wait for the wedding and food and dancing.
Congratulations!
Hi Kristin and Mike, I love these photos. What a beautiful couple. We look forward to seeing you in September. What a gorgeous bride and groom. A song “The Look of Love” comes to mind.
