One of my favorite parts about living on CT is the constant changing of season. To me, with each season comes new adventures to be had, new beginnings, and new life. One of my favorite places to witness these season changes is in new Haven. I LOVE walking around Yale campus and crunching leaves beneath my boots, I love going to Lighthouse Point Park in the summer, walking chapel street with Starbucks in hand for the tree lighting in winter, and then the infamous cherry blossoms that bloom in Wooster Square every spring. I was born and raise din new Haven so it will always hold a special place in my heart. After what was an incredibly long winter, Kat and John suggested that their engagement session be held amongst the cherry blossoms in Wooster Square and we managed to hit it JUST in time for the blooms to be perfectly in peak. It was actually a full week after the cherry blossom festival, but the trees were absolutely gorgeous. In addition to a stunning backdrop, Kat and John were os easy to work with and were total pros at this thing called love. There was something about the way she looked at him – with honor, respect and adoration – that is something I truly appreciate seeing in a woman’s eyes. And then the way John held Kat – as though her arms and chest were the safest place in the world for her – is the way that all women should be held.
Meet Kat + John.
