They are the kind of couple that you want in your life. She, with her sweet and sassy personality and he with his calm, but charming, demeanor. Together, they are an all-american power couple with their love for Football, Frank Sinatra, and Friday nights spent on the couch with a perfectly mixed cocktail and a new Netflix series to binge on. Amanda and Mark were one of the first couples I booked after I redid our website and brand early this year and they were a couple that proved to me that I had made the right decisions in taking this business in the direction I wanted to take it. I remember hitting “publish” on the new website, taking a deep breath, and wondering if anyone would ever contact me again. What with so many black and white images, so many film images, and a much more refined look in general, I was afraid I had out niched myself and my studio. A couple weeks later, I received an excited email from Amanda detailing her entire vision for her wedding day and instantly I knew that she and Mark were my dream clients. I silently prayed that when I met them in person, they would feel the same way about me photographing their wedding. I couldn’t have been more excited when Amanda wanted to confirm that I shot medium format film, and asked if I would be willing to shoot a large portion of the wedding on black and white film. YES AND YES! As she, Mark, and her parents began explaining more of their vision for the wedding day and telling me more about their family, I knew that they were the exact type of clients I wanted to work with every weekend. Their engagement session in Greenwich was exactly what I dream of for engagement sessions, between a stunning and private beach, a gorgeous gown, a beautiful view of New York City, and a little bubbly to end the evening.
Mark and Amanda, you have NO IDEA how excited I am about your wedding next year!
These are AHMAZING!!!!
