It was like a movie. I drove through the streets of Manhattan, which were virtually empty on that beautiful Sunday morning, headed to do Stephany and Tim’s engagement session in Madison Square Park in the Flat Iron District. I parked my car on the corner of 5th Ave & 26th Street – exactly where I needed to meet them – and looked across the street. It was beautiful. Filled with cherry blossom trees in full bloom, Madison Square park was just heavenly, like a dream, and like a romantic movie where lovers meet in the park.
They may not have met directly in Madison square park, but the reason they wanted to do their engagement photos there is because they did indeed meet right across the street. 220 Fifth Ave, to be exact. When I met with Steph and Tim they talked about how they would occasionally walk through Madison Square Park, eating at the Shake Shack. And on that Sunday morning, it was a perfect day to do an engagement session. The weather was simply gorgeous, and there was almost nobody out. Just like I imagine it would be in a movie 🙂
Meet Stephany and Tim.
I can’t wait to do their wedding at the Boston Public Library in just a few weeks 🙂
Isn’t Madison Square Park so pretty in the springtime? PERFECT for an engagement session!
Steph told me she was not photogenic. She lied. Not only is she stunning, but she was also a natural in front of the camera!
We had a great view of the Empire State Building, so we took a few shots in front of it.
Where it all began 🙂
I love these! Totally a “New York City” engagement photo! 🙂
These are gorgeous! Like scenes from a movie. The yellow taxi in a few of the shots was absolutely perfect. I want my engagement photos done in this exact location. Does an No Eyes supply the fiance?
My favorite location.
Haha, Becky! Unfortunately we are not a dating service, but he….that’s a good idea!
Oooo, Alish! I love!!!
