Rushing around to get ready for a client meeting I bend down to grab a pair of high heels that are lined up along my back wall, only to jump back with a shriek that could be heard from here to Sri Lanka. UGH. I HATE when that happens. Not the shriek…well that too….but that moment when you are completely blind sided by these seemingly invincible threads that somehow have this way of just making you feel like they reached the core of your being instead of just your skin. Spider webs. UGH.

I hate spiders more than anything in the world. I would rather eat a rat (and that I have done before! Truth!) than even have to look at a spider. And there is little in this world more creepy than being caught off guard by sticking your hand into a spider web. Or even worse, walking into one.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time…

Loathes –
Spiders. Probably the first thing I ask God when I get to heaven (yes I intend on making it there) is “Whyyyyyy THOSE? Was there really no other solution?”
Sitting in my bathrobe until lunchtime. I hate doing it, but I instinctively do it. Every. Single. Day. When I wake up, I always go straight to my computer and start working, and I guess I get so caught up in it that I don’t take the time to shower and get ready in the morning. And I hate that. Thinking I need to change that. Next week? Check my “loves” and see if I followed through.
Bathing suit shopping.. Need I say more?

Loves –
Avocados. Is there anything better in life that having a nice ripe green scoop of awesomeness sitting next to your healthy whole grain & turkey sandwich for lunch? I think not.
DIY projects. . *We* (as in my dad and Adam) are currently refinishing Adam’s basement. I have always loved DIY home projects, and although I have not been able to help much yet, I am excited for when they actually let me get in on the action. Something about the before and after, the finished product, the goal, that makes me all giddy inside.
Sunny weather. Heaven shined upon Connecticut this week in the form of 80 degree weather, and I am NOT complaining!

And that concludes this week’s “Loves + Loathes”

Happy Saturday! Enjoy this awesome weather!
