Happy Friday!
I don’t know about you but I am gearing up for a BUSY weekend! And I am super duper excited to kick the weekend off by showing you part 1 of Katherine and Brian’s wedding at Commanders Mansion in Watertown, MA. This wedding was one that we had been looking forward to for a while, knowing that it would be styled and organized by the ever-so-amazing Paula Marrero of Marrero Events. Working with a stellar team, including Jimmie Esposito on the entertainment, Karla Cassidy on florals, Capers Catering, and the team at Commanders Mansion, we knew this wedding would be a doozy! Combine those all star vendors with the crative genuis of Katherine and it was certain to be a home run! And that it was. With all the bright yellow and green details, vintage touches here and there, and the support of family and friend, this wedding was one for the books.
Katherine and Brian, I was so honored to be there for your special day! And, Katherine, thanks for making my job SO DIFFICULT by being drop dead gorgeous. 😉
Katherine and Brian’s color scheme was bright yellow and green so for half of the day she wore vintage yellow shoes and the other half she wore these bright yellow chucks! Fun!
The rooms inside Commander’s Mansion were absolutely gorgeous and made a beautiful backdrop for their wedding!
This brooch belonged to Katherine’s Grandmother and added a very special and sentimental touch to her bouquet.
Katherine’s vintage dress. 🙂
The flower girl, who was Katherine’s niece, was way too cute and enjoying every moment of being dressed up like a princess. She kept looking at herself in the mirror and dancing in front of it.
Katherine has this amazing, flawless, porcelain skin that I’d kill for!
Isn’t the bridal suite at Commander’s Mansion absolutely beautiful?
Katherine, you are so, so beautiful. There are no words.
Going along with the colors scheme, the guys had matching green chucks to wear with their suits.
The nice thing about having a wedding at the Commanders Mansion is that there is both a Bride and Groom suite, which means that the couple gets ready in the same building. This makes it so much easier on us as photographers, because we can easily hop from one room to the other without missing any parts of the day.
Katherine and Brian have a pet hedgehog named Reggie who couldn’t be with us for the wedding, but who was there in spirit….and stuffed animal form. There were little touches of hedgehog throughout the entire wedding which made for some fun and quirky photos.
Brian looking all dapper…
