When it comes to love, they say that when you know, you just know. And often, it’s really that simple. That after days and weeks and months and years of searching for that perfect person, the search is finally over. And you realize that although that person may not be perfect, they are perfect for you. It’s about about finding that person whose arms you fit perfectly into. Whose scent is intoxicating. And whose eyes draw you in and wrap you up like a ship in the middle of the ocean. And that in this one person, you realize that if God above doesn’t bless you with a single thing beyond what He has already given you, you have all that you’ll ever need: love.
Such is the case with Kate and Todd, a wonderful couple that lives in Colorado Springs and had their wedding at Crooked Willow Farm, a venue I’ve been wanting to shoot at for quite some time! Katie of Katie Corinne Photography asked if I would be interested in shooting this wedding with her and I gladly obliged!
Kate and Todd’s wedding at Crooked Willow Farm was an absolutely beautiful one, perfectly planned and executed by Katie of Day Planner Events, and styled perfectly by a stellar team of vendors.

You know it’s going to be a good day when it starts off with a pair of Jimmy Choo’s!
All of the wood around Crooked Willow Farm made a fabulous backdrop for Kate’s details. Rustic, but still classic.
I loved the Groom’s getting ready area at Crooked Willow Farm because it was so rugged, rustic and masculine. The contrast of the dark wood and gorgeous light from the windows made for an incredible portrait time with Todd.
One of the things I loved most about shooting Kate and Todd’s wedding at Crooked Willow Farm was that the layout of the farm and backdrop of the mountains are second to none. Such incredible scenery for a wedding ceremony!
I loved how effortlessly Kate and Todd loved each other. It definitely came natural to them!
I love that at Crooked Willow Farm there are so many places to take the bride and groom for portraits. There are two ponds, a barn, sprawling grounds, CAMELS, trees….so much to work with to get a good variety of wedding pictures and portraits.
How stunning is this backdrop at Crooked Willow Farm? It’s PERFECT for a wedding ceremony and portraits!
