John + Josi | bedste bryllupsfotograf i københavn danmark
A couple weeks ago I went to my home away from home, Denmark, for 3 weddings. The first of the 3 was quite possibly the loveliest Danish wedding I’ve ever been to. Clean, classic, and perfectly Scandinavian, John and Josi planned their wedding with every “t” crossed and “i” dotted. The venue of Sølyst in Charlottelund was absolutely gorgeous, with hilltop views of the ocean and Swedish territory in the distance. The day was filled with nothing but smiles and laughs and a few [happy] tears. I have been super excited to post this wedding, so without further ado….John + Josi.
Josi got ready at the absolutely lovely Phoenix Hotel in downtown Copenhagen. I told her when I saw pictures of the room that it looked like it was fit for a queen and when I saw the room in person, my thoughts were confirmed. Josi’s lovely bouquet was made by the talented Birgitte Nielsen of Blomster Gitte.Marianne Faerch did Josi’s hair and makeup, making her look absolutely flawless! Josi’s mom was quite possibly one of the sweetest moms I’ve ever met and was there to attend to her daughter every detail throughout the day.Josi got ready in the Rosenborg suite at Hotel Phoenix and it really is one of the prettiest hotel rooms I’ve ever seen.
I loved the look on Josi’s fathers face when he saw her for the first time. The view from Hotel Phoenix was absolutely gorgeous!John also got ready at Hotel Phoenix, which I really appreciated. When a bride and groom gets ready in the same hotel, it allows for much better coverage when both are getting ready. The church that John and Josi got married in was a quintessential Danish state church, super adorable. After the wedding ceremony, Josi’s niece sat on this chain link swinging and singing sweetly while the boy swung from trees. I absolutely loved watching those boys be boys…suits and all!John and Josi’s reception was at Sølyst in Charlottelund and was absolutely gorgeous! You two….are just so ridiculously good looking. Three generations of beautiful womenI’ve mentioned this in other posts I’ve done of Danish wedding, but when the bride leaves the room all the women have to get up and kiss the groom, and when the groom leaves all the guys have to kiss the bride.
Ooh that black and white one of her behind the veil in the getting ready is my FAV! Gorgeous!
I LOVE what you’ve done with their wedding, the photos are splendid! I’m quite young to be thinking about my own wedding but my boyfriend is Danish and I can’t help but you know, imagine it, like most teenage girls do..
Once again, really love your work! I love the bride’s prep ones, they are gorgeous! 🙂
