Jenna + Ian’s Harkness Memorial state park wedding
A legacy of love. That is what Jenna and Ian were marrying into. And when they promised a lifetime, I have no doubt that they knew the depth of those words. Because on the day they married, they were surrounded by people with whom a lifetime of love was the standard. They are high school sweethearts who have already stood by each others side through thick and thin and they knew that nothing could tear them apart. Her maid of honor got up to give a speech and reminded Jenna (as though she forgot) that they have known each other and been best friends/sisters from the day they were born. And as her Grandmother and Grandfather sat in their chairs and watched all the young lovers dance the night away, they still had that spark in their eye for each other, even after over 60 years. A legacy of love. It’s something that can’t be made up. It has proven itself through the test of time. For better and for worse, for richer and poorer. And in a world where this kind of love is fleeting, Jenna and Ian have what it takes, and are surrounded by the best cheerleaders around, in making it to forever. Because at the end of the day, that legacy is one that they know will continue to be passed down to their generations to come.
A MAJOR huge thanks to Tiffany Farley for tagging along and shooting this wedding with me. All the pretty pictures are hers. 🙂
