To say that Grace was excited the morning of her wedding day is perhaps one of the biggest understatements one could make. She was nervous, but was overflowing with excitement, beaming with joy and anxiously waiting for the day to officially began. And, of course, it couldn’t really begin until she saw Joe. But she made due, spending the morning with her girls laughing and joking – soaking in every moment that she knew would pass by far too quickly. Soon she was in her dress, ready to head to the church. She had been ready to become Joe’s wife for so long and now that the moment had finally arrived it was almost too much to take in. She stood at the back of the church for a second, took a breath and walked down to meet him. The moment had come.
When Joe saw Grace appear at the back of the church, you could see a change in his face. It was as though all at once it hit him that his life was about to change more in this one moment than it ever had before. Since the minute he met Grace, she had transformed his life for the better and today she would do so on a much deeper level – making him happier than he ever thought possible. It was almost too much to take in. He stood at the front of the church, took a deep breath and watched her walk down to meet him. Then he took her hand and held it like he would never let it go.
