She walked into the room to see her dress hanging, perfectly lit it the sun pouring through the nearby window, and she cried. Big, fat, happy tears. Of joy. Of love. Of hope. Of expectation. And as she put that dress on she studied herself in the mirror, giving a sigh of approval. No words were spoken but we all knew she felt like the most beautiful girl in the world.
She walked down the aisle to meet her future husband, her best friend and confidant from high school, and she cried. Big, fat, happy tears. Of joy. Of love. Of hope. Of expectation. And as she made her way towards him the smile that lit up his face said it all. No words were spoken but we all knew that he thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world.
Matt and Elissa got married last weekend on a day that predicted nasty weather but turned out to be warm and sunny. It was a day filled with so many tears of joy and smiles of happiness. And it was a night of laughter and love.
I can’t even begin to try to articulate how much I absolutely adore these two! Elissa has become a good friend and fellow bride of mine through this process and it’s clients like her that make me realize how much I love what I do! LOVE YOU TWO!!!

This cake was made by MATT’S MOM! When clients tell me that a family member is making the cake I always take a deep breath because I’ve seen it be a flop many times. This cake was the exception. not only did it look incredible but it tasted FANTASTIC!

First, let me introduce myself. I am alyssa’s cousin. her dad’s. 1st cousin. I follow her on facebook as i now live in Arizona and have not seen alyssa or her family since her sister Katie’s baby shower. Soooo….she is so gifted in so many ways, and most certainly of being able to capture in print the deepests emotions from intense love, joy,sadness, humor, etc. etc., etc. And all inclusive from a to z. sooo beautiful, such softness! and alyssa has done this for both of youin this album. Buut then how could she not but do this because she had such a beautiful couple to work with. She’s also proven she has the gift of expressing herself in words and in song.
