Aalborg bryllupsfotograf
Starting your Monday off with a cozy little wedding in Denmark. Maria and Kasper were a charm to work with – but I should have known that because Maria was one of my interns when I was in Denmark. It was a honor to be there on her special day!

The beautiful details on Maria’s wedding dress!
Their ceremony was one of the hardest I have ever had to photograph. I was only allowed to sit on the back row and get some photo as they walked in and walked out. I managed to snap a couple mid-ceremony, but I got in trouble for those so I had to stop.
Danish wedding ceremonies are unique in that the bride walks up the aisle but then sis on one side with her father, across from the groom and his best man. At a certain point in the ceremony the couple walks up to the altar, says their vows, and then they are allowed o sit next to one another.
Love the look on Maria’s face!!

In Denmark it is customary for the groom to present a speech to the bride. It inevitably always results in tears shed. 🙂
Another funny tradition for Danish weddings is when the guests clink their glasses the bride and groom have to stand on their chairs to kiss, and when they all start stomping their feet the bride and groom have to kiss under the table.
By 11PM these guys had enough.
