With a fearless smile, Chelsea faced the backs of the crowd. Her eyes twinkled as though, standing here at the back of of the church, she held some precious secret. Something only two hearts in this entire room could know. Fluid notes filled the air and every head turned to gaze at her. Instantly warmth rose to her cheeks as her feet brought her slowly down the isle, almost on their own. She could feel every care in the world shed from her with every step, like the delicate petals that preceded her, to be replaced with a feeling she could only describe as “glowing”. She was glowing. If a candle’s flame had feelings, surely this must be what it was like. Intense burning at the core and all fluttery around the edges. Because the eyes trained on her had long since melted away. From the moment she’d began her journey toward the altar, she’d only had eyes for one person. And his eyes were, in turn, locked on hers. Ray, at the moment, was having trouble breathing properly. Every step she took closer was a shock to his soul. He had never seen anything more beautiful in all his life and it wasn’t because she was flawless. But because she was his. From this day forward…in happiness and in discord…through the storms of life to the rainbows…from every whispered “I love you” to every tear… They’re hands joined, hearts so full they could burst, and what was meant to be was sealed with a chaste and loving kiss. The room around them erupted with cheers, flashing lights, and more petals. But all they could see were the visions in each others’ eyes of facing this new life together.
